Why don't leftovers ever make it to lunch the next day?
I made a beautiful roast chicken dinner last night — enough for lunches all week, I thought.
This morning I opened the fridge and found one lonely drumstick and an empty Tupperware.
Punchline
Because my family practices catch-and-release: they catch dinner, then release it at 10 p.m. during a "little snack."
Meal planning is just wishful thinking with prettier containers.
