School run

My daughter asked why I always put the lunch bag in the fridge but pack it on the counter in the morning

I explained that the lunch bag goes in the fridge so everything stays fresh overnight—turkey, cheese, grapes, the little yogurt tube she never eats.

But in the morning, I pack it on the counter because the fridge is too cold for my hands, the counter has more space, and honestly, I need to see what I'm doing in decent light.

Plus, everything's going back into the lunch bag anyway.

Punchline

It's called staged logistics—the fridge is storage, the counter is assembly, and her backpack is the loading dock.
