My grandson asked why I always put the measuring cups back in the drawer but just eyeball everything when I bake
I wash them so carefully after each recipe. Nest them back in perfect size order, handles all facing the same direction.
Then I make cookies by pouring flour until it "looks about right" and adding vanilla "until I can smell it."
