School run

My son asked why I always write his name on the brown paper lunch bag but pack everything in a plastic container inside

I told him it's bag insurance.

The bag gets the credit, the container does the work. If the bag rips, tears, or mysteriously vanishes in the cafeteria black hole, at least the Tupperware comes home.

Plus, his name looks way better in Sharpie on paper than scratched into plastic with a ballpoint pen I found in the junk drawer.

Punchline

It's not over-engineering—it's a two-layer defense system against lunch loss and my own forgetfulness.
